About Bishop
Apostle Charlotte Jeffreys
Bishop Charlotte Hayes-Jeffreys is God’s chosen vessel. Her longevity in ministry and mainstay is known domestically and internationally as a dynamic leader in God’s Kingdom having the integrity and character that ranks her with high approval from God and favor with mankind.
This Woman of God was ordained in the office of an Apostle in 1987. God revealed to her in a dream and birthed, Divine Direction International Ministries.
Her steadfast communion and obedience to God has graced her with a coat of Pastoral leadership. Not only is she the Pastor of Divine Direction International Ministries, she also is the Pastor of Lure Church Atlanta, Georgia.
Among her many spiritual accomplishments. God approved her in the office of Bishop. Her love for God, The Kingdom and people is recognized as she oversees churches in America as well as Jamaica. Her acts have displayed God’s love by orchestrating an AIDS Walk to honor God, her late husband of 22 years and to society; to embrace those affected by the disease. Her deceased husband passed from HIV/AIDS. God kept her from contracting the disease as a testimony of His love and faithfulness to her.
Her sharpness in the Prophetic is bold, accurate and life changing. This Prophetic call brings transformation, deliverance, healing and restoration to the hearers. This same prophetic boldness is used in her outreach ministry to enter homes, beauty salons, strip clubs, women’s shelters and the marketplace to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Apostle Charlotte brings the presence of God with her wherever she goes. She is a sharp business leader in corporate and entrepreneurial settings. Her business aptitude is used to help others in their own personal and business endeavors. She is an Executive Director and Certified Housing Counselor. She has received many housing and counseling certificates for the community.
Over the years Bishop Charlotte has seen the goodness of God on her life as well as her children; Mankell Hayes and Rose Shavi Hayes-Wright. Her children have blessed her with five beautiful grandchildren whom she affectionately refers to as “the J’s”: Alvin Jerome, Jazzmyn, Jaiden, Jacee and Jaia.
God is a God of restoration. Although Apostle Charlotte accepted the strong possibility that she would never marry again, a fateful encounter with a stranger on an airplane blossomed into a beautiful friendship and love story. In May 2008, God united Apostle Charlotte and Jay Jeffreys.
They currently minister together in their home in the state of Georgia. They travel and serve at their other churches to teach and encourage growth in the Body of Christ.
